Coverage to expand from Golden Strip to Municipal Recreation Departments in the following counties: Abbeville, Anderson, Cherokee, Greenville, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Oconee, Pickens, Spartanburg, and Union
Mauldin, SC, 4/28/2024 – The MB6 Foundation, started in 2018 to help offset the cost for underprivileged youth to participate in recreational team sports, is expanding their grant coverage area to include all municipal recreation departments in the Upstate of South Carolina. The grants will be available to the recreation departments through an application that is available upon request. The application process will open May 1st, 2024 to coincide with the 10 year anniversary of the passing of Michael Blake, the namesake of the MB6 Foundation.
